Abdu Murray is a speaker, author, and attorney who specializes in addressing issues where religious faith and emerging cultural trends intersect and collide.

Growing up as a Muslim in America, Abdu would ask Christians, “Why do you believe that Christianity is true?” From a young age, he was passionate about Islam and sought to convert those around him to his religion. In his determination to refute Christianity, he started reading the Bible and eventually became convinced that the Gospel was true. Now, he is a follower of Jesus who is passionate to tell others about the life, death and resurrection of Christ.

Abdu is the founder of Embrace the Truth Ministries and has authored four books, each addressing significant contemporary cultural issues and the Christian faith, including More than a White Man’s Religion, Saving Truth, Apocalypse Later,and Grand Central Question. His articles have appeared in various media outlets, including Fox News, Christianity Today, Washington Times, Christian Post, and Western Journal. ​

Murray has tackled complex issues in Q&A forums, debates, and dialogues at leading universities such as Yale, Berkeley, MIT, University of Michigan, University of Florida, Laurentian University, San Marcos University, Universidad Cientifica del Sur, and others around the world.

He has also addressed leaders in countries such as the United States, Canada, Peru, and Hong Kong. He hosts several podcasts and YouTube shows, with millions of views, further extending his reach in discussing faith-related issues in contemporary society. His work emphasizes the importance of engaging with cultural challenges through a Christian lens, aiming to inspire thoughtful dialogue and understanding. ​While an attorney at two major law firms in Detroit, he was named to, “Best Lawyers in America” and to “Michigan Super Lawyers.”

Murray lives in the Metro Detroit area with his wife and their three children.
